§ 11-03-030. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

  • (a)

    Contributing to the delinquency of a minor consists of any person eighteen (18) years and over committing any act, or omitting the performance of any duty, which act or omission causes, or tends to cause or encourage the delinquency of any person under the age of eighteen (18) years. Delinquency as used in this section includes the doing of any act or the failure to do any act which any person under the age of eighteen (18) is required by law to do or not do.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the offense defined in this section.
