§ 11-05-120. Generally—False reports or statements.

It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally make or file with the police department, municipal court or city attorney's office any false, misleading or unfounded report or statement concerning the commission or alleged commission of any crime which hinders or interrupts any public officer, police officer, or any other person in the legal performance of his duty or in the exercise of his rights under the laws of the United States or of the state or the ordinances of the city.
