§ 11-05-180. Generally—Perjury.

(a)

Perjury consists of making a false statement under oath or affirmation, material to the issue or matter involved in the course of any municipal proceeding, knowing such statement to be untrue.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the offense defined in this section.
