§ 12-04-030. Exceptions.

(a)

Nothing in this article shall be held to apply to the possession or daily use of signaling devices by railroads or other transportation companies.

(b)

The city manager may, upon due application, issue a city permit to persons, who in the opinion of the city manager are properly qualified, authorizing the sale of fireworks other than aerial devices or ground audible devices. The city manager may also, upon due application, issue a city permit to a properly qualified person, authorizing the conduct of a pyrotechnic display in the public parks or other open places.
