§ 14-02-020. Services and rates.

Franchisees shall collect, at least once a week, all trash at designated collection sites. The sanitation service rate for commercial accounts shall be determined on a private contractual basis between the commercial user and private sanitation service providers licensed and approved by the City of Alamogordo. In the event the city determines that no viable competition exists for commercial refuse services, the city commission reserves the right to regulate haulers' rates. All fees for collection and disposal of refuse will be collected by the licensed sanitation service provider.
