§ 17-05-130. Unlawful transactions.

No license holder shall purchase or receive any item:
(1)

From which the manufacturer's name plate, serial number or distinguishing number or identification mark has been obviously defaced, altered, covered or destroyed; or

(2)

Which the license holder knows or should have known is not lawfully owned by the person offering the same.
