§ 17-07-080. Same—Revocation; grounds for.

  • The city commission, upon recommendation of the director of public safety, or upon its own motion, shall have the right and authority, to revoke, for cause, any license issued under the provisions of this article, after notice and opportunity to be heard before the city commission. Just cause shall include, but not be limited to the following:

    (1)

    If such licensee has wilfully violated any of the provisions of this article.

    (2)

    If any employee of such licensee shall have violated any of the provisions of this article with the permission or instructions of such licensee to do so.

    (3)

    Conviction of any felony or any offense involving moral turpitude. (Excepting minor traffic violations.)

    (4)

    Violation of the rules and regulations of the police department of the city so far as the same may be applicable.
