§ 17-09-070. Automatic dialing service and audible alarms.

(a)

No automatic dialing service shall be interconnected to a primary trunk line, direct line, or regular telephone line to the department of public safety unless it is an alarm for a governmental building or a financial institution approved by the director of public safety and in compliance with the regulations in subsection (a).

(b)

Any alarm system which emits a sound that can be heard outside of the protected structure or property shall be equipped with no greater than a fifteen (15) minute automatic time out.
