§ 18-01-020. Judgment.

Judgment of guilty or not guilty of the offense charged shall be entered in each case heard by the municipal judge, and by such judgment the defendant shall be discharged, fined or imprisoned as the case may be and when the defendant is found guilty, the costs of such case shall be assessed against him, and all judgments imposing a fine or penalty shall be, in default of the payment thereof, imprisonment for a specified number of days or until such fines and costs are paid, and subjecting the defendant to labor on the streets of the city in the discretion of the judge.
