§ 23-04-040. Dedication—Municipal Gross Receipt Taxes.

  • Revenue from the municipal gross receipts tax will be used for the purpose(s) listed below: Upwards to fifty (50) percent of the revenues may be used for municipal general purposes. Annually, at the same time when the governing body approves its interim budget, the city commission shall determine the amount of the revenues to be used for municipal general purposes subject to the fifty (50) percent limitation in the next fiscal year.
