§ 24-12-6-12.23. Permitting unauthorized persons to drive.

A.

No person shall cause or knowingly permit his child or ward under the age of eighteen years to drive a motor vehicle upon any street when such minor is not authorized under state law or is in violation of any of the provisions of the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Code.

B.

No person shall authorize or knowingly permit a motor vehicle owned by him or under his control to be driven upon any street by any person who is not authorized under state law or is in violation of any of the provisions of the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Code.
