§ 26-01-010. Trees to be trimmed.

(a)

It shall be the duty of the owner of real property to remove from such property any tree, plant, shrub or other obstruction, or part thereof, which constitutes a traffic or pedestrian hazard or which overhangs any public thoroughfare. On streets, trees must clear standard size trucks; i.e., 14 feet above pavement.

(b)

The code enforcement officer of the city maintains the same enforcement authority of this section as is provided in Section 14-01-020 of the Code.
