§ 26-02-010. Definitions.

As used in this article:

Lessee or tenant shall mean, if the land is leased or rented, the person having the right to possession of the land.

Owner shall mean the person having the right to possession of the land.

Person having the right to possession of the land shall mean, if the property is unoccupied, any agent having authority to lease, rent, sell, manage or take care of the land.
