§ 28-02-080. Public buildings—Connections.

  • (a)

    No public service building, hotel, school, public school, laundry or other kind of public service establishment shall be permitted to connect with the public sewers except at a manhole. If no standard manhole is available the construction and installation of a manhole necessary to such installation at a point to be designated by the city manager shall be charged to and paid for by the applicant and such sewer connection line shall open into such manhole.

    (b)

    The city manager or designee shall take notice of the provisions of this section and the same shall be strictly enforced, unless the city manager shall certify that some other method of making such connection will satisfy all public requirements.
