§ 28-03-150. Maintenance and repair of service lines.

City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the service lines from the city's water main to and including the water meter and meter yoke. A property owner is responsible for the maintenance and repair of service lines connecting his building to the city water system at the outlet of the meter yoke. A property owner is also responsible for any water damage to public property, such as damage resulting from causes including, but not limited to, leaks or collapses of service lines and run-off or discharge of water.
