§ 2-03-330. Authorization to Travel.

Except as otherwise specifically stated herein, authority to grant other authorizations or approvals required under this section shall be as follows:
1.

For the mayor, by majority vote of a quorum of the city commission in a public meeting before any out of state expense is incurred;

2.

For any member of the city commission, by majority vote of a quorum of the city commission in a public meeting before any out of state expense is incurred; and

3.

For any members of standing boards and/or commissions of the city, by majority of a quorum of the city commission in a public meeting before any out of state expense is incurred.

Advanced commission authorization shall not be required for any travel by the mayor, any member of the city commission, or any member of any standing boards and/or commissions to the City of El Paso, Texas. Travel to El Paso shall be treated in the same manner as other in-state travel.
