§ 2-05-14. Generally—Members.

Members of the police department shall be appointed, and promotions within the department shall be made in the manner provided in the rules and regulations of the police department. Each police officer member of the police department shall have all the responsibility, authority and liability prescribed by statute or ordinance for police personnel.
