Article 2-11. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT |
§ 2-11-010. Creation of department.
There is hereby created a department of community development. The department of community development shall consist of the department director and such other officers and employees as may be provided for by the city manager. The department director shall have charge of the making and preservation of all surveys, maps, plans, drawings, and estimates for public works projects. The department director shall be the chief administrative authority in all matters affecting zoning and the inspection and regulation of the erection, maintenance, repair and occupancy of buildings as may be ordained by the city commission. The department director shall perform other duties as assigned by the city manager.
