§ 2-12-010. Creation of department.

There is hereby created a department of community services. The department of community services shall consist of the director of community services, and such officers and employees as may be provided for by the city manager. The director of community services shall manage and have charge of maintenance of all parks and recreational facilities and programs within the city. The community services director shall manage the city cemetery, the senior center, the Alameda Park Zoo and shall perform other duties as assigned by the city manager.
