§ 2-13-010. Authority.

The city commission, hereby enacts this division for the purpose of providing maximum local self-government. To that end, it is intended that this article shall govern all purchasing transactions of the city and shall serve to exempt the city from provisions of the New Mexico Procurement Code, as provided in section 13-1-98(K), NMSA 1978.
