§ 2-13-040. Central purchasing office.

  • The central purchasing office is created and shall be the central purchasing office for the city, except as otherwise provided by ordinance. There is created the position of chief procurement officer who shall be appointed by the city manager. The central purchasing office shall consist of the chief procurement officer and such other officers and employees as may be provided by the city manager.
