§ 2-16-050. Generally—Members.

Members of the police department shall be appointed, and promotions within the department shall be appointed, and promotions within the fire department shall be made in the manner provided in the rules and regulations of the fire department. Each fire officer member of the fire department shall have all the responsibility, authority and liability prescribed by statute or ordinance for fire personnel.
