§ 9-01-010. Purpose of article.

Monte Vista Cemetery is owned and operated for the public by the city. Permanent care for the perpetual care sections of the cemetery is made possible by setting aside fifty (50) percent of the purchase price realized from the sale of any perpetual care grave space by the city into a perpetual care fund which shall be invested and the interest earned shall remain in the fund until such time as the fund is needed to maintain the cemetery.
