§ 5. Meetings.

All City Commission meetings are open to the public and the official records open to inspection, except for closed executive sessions held in accordance with the State Open Meetings Act. A quorum consists of a majority of incumbent Commissioners.

A.

Regular meetings shall take place twice monthly at a place, time and day determined by ordinance. Regular meetings shall not occur on legal holidays.

B.

Special meetings shall be called by the Mayor or any two (2) Commissioners, for the purpose of discussing or acting on any City business.

C.

Emergency meetings shall be called by the Mayor or any Commissioner, to resolve emergency matters involving clear and present danger to the health, safety or welfare of the citizens of Alamogordo.
