There is hereby created the local emergency planning committee (LEPC) of the city to be composed of a chairman and such other personnel as described in the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) of 1986 and other personnel as the mayor may appoint from time to time. Members of the local emergency planning committee shall be appointed and serve in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2, Article 4 of the Code of Ordinances.
