§ 10-04-040. Extension of emergency proclamation.

  • Any emergency proclaimed in accordance with the provisions of this article shall terminate after forty-eight (48) hours from the issuance thereof, or upon an issuance of a proclamation determining that the emergency situation still exists, whichever occurs first; provided, however, that, such emergency may be terminated by the city commission prior to the termination of forty-eight (48) hours or may be extended for such additional periods of time as deemed necessary by the city commission.
