§ 11-05-030. Generally—Aiding escape.

(a)

Aiding escape consists of either:

(1)

Intentionally aiding any person held in lawful custody or confinement to escape; or

(2)

Any officer, jailer or other employee intentionally permitting any prisoner in his custody to escape.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the offense defined in this section.
