§ 12-02-020. Definitions.

(a)

The term "fire marshal" used in this chapter shall mean any fire staff of the Alamogordo fire department who has been appointed by the fire chief, to enforce the provisions of the International Fire Code, 2003 Edition. The term "fire marshal" shall also mean "chief of the bureau of fire prevention" as those words are used in the International Fire Code, 2003 Edition.

(b)

The term "jurisdiction" as used in the International Fire Code, 2003 Edition shall mean the City of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

(c)

The term "bureau of fire prevention" as used in the International Fire Code, 2003 Edition shall mean the Alamogordo Fire Department, City of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
