Chapter 19. PARKS, PLAYGROUNDS AND RECREATION |
Article 19-03. COMMITTEE |
§ 19-03-030. Duties.
The parks and recreation board shall:
a.
act in an advisory capacity to the city commission and city management in matters pertaining to parks and recreation;
b.
review and recommend polices and fee structures for all park and recreation services and submit them for approval of the city commission;
c.
advise the city commission and city management on problems of development of recreation areas, facilities, programs, and improvement of recreation services;
d.
recommend the adoption of standards on facilities, programs, and financial resources needed;
e.
aid in coordinating the city recreation services with the programs of other governmental agencies and voluntary organizations, including the Alamogordo Public Schools.
