§ 2-03-030. Mayor—Selection; term.

The city commission, at the first meeting of the new commission after each election, or as soon thereafter as practical, shall select one of their members as mayor, who shall act as mayor for two (2) years or until a successor is appointed and qualified, unless sooner removed by death, resignation or removal from office.
