§ 2-04-110. Alamogordo Promotion Board—Budget—Marketing effectiveness.

  • (a)

    The board shall submit yearly, on or before March 1, when requested by the city manager, a proposed budget which shall not exceed the prior year's lodgers' tax receipts for the promotion of the city's recreational facilities and tourist attractions.

    (b)

    Annually, at the same time the yearly budget is submitted, or at other times when requested by the city manager, the board shall submit statistical information which measures the marketing effectiveness of the marketing efforts conducted in the preceding calendar year. Measures used shall include a return on investment (lodger's tax revenue divided by the total marketing expenditures).
