§ 8-08-100. Installation of backflow assemblies.

With the exception of backflow assemblies installed by city employees under the direction of certified city staff, all backflow prevention assemblies shall be installed by a contractor licensed by the state construction industries division and certified in accordance with the provisions of this article to install backflow prevention assemblies. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required approvals, such as approved plans, permits and inspections.
