§ 2-16-040. Generally—Rules; regulations.

The fire chief may make or prescribe such rules and regulations for the conduct of the fire department as he or she deems advisable; such rules, when approved by the city manager shall be binding on members of the fire department. The rules may cover the conduct of the members, uniforms and equipment worn, carried or used, hours of service, vacations, and other matters necessary or desirable for the better efficiency of the fire department.
